Charity

Charities need to run like businesses, they have the same requirements as businesses with regards to their information technology however, they may have a more limited budget or older hardware, and often they are staffed with volunteers. One of the charities that we work with, for example, has 6 computers – 3 for regular staff and 3 that are used by a variety of part-time staff and volunteers. They all share a printer/scanner and share data across the network. We provide telephone and remote support as well as attending their site regularly to perform routine maintenance and check the back-ups.
